The Australian Government is helping Australian households install greenhouse friendly hot water technologies. Rebates of $1000 are available in eligible circumstances to install solar and heat pump hot water systems. Has to be on your own house, installed by a plumber, and replacing an electric storage hot water system.
Australian solar panel rebate scheme
The Photovoltaic Rebate Programme provides cash rebates of up to $8000 for the installation of solar photovoltaic systems (solar panels) on homes, schools and community use buildings.
