Children's Picture Dictionary

Welcome to the Giraffian Children's Picture Dictionary. This section of the site functions like a cross between a dictionary and a wiki. Because this is for young children, you cannot edit entries like a wiki unless you have permission to do so. You will need to contact me to arrange this if you are interested.

If you want to add an entry, you can do so via this link. You can add an entry with or without a picture: you can draw your own picture, use a photo or I can draw a picture for new entries. Creating a dictionary entry on a topic is a great idea for a school project.

You can browse the children's dictionary letter by letter from the links at the left, or search for words you are interested in. You can search for the titles of dictionary entries, or search within the entries themselves. If you notice a problem with any dictionary entries, or want to add something, just leave a comment on that entry.
